LOOK BEFORE YOU BOOK

Please read the following important information prior to booking your appointment. You must acknowledge that you have read and understand before you can book and permanent makeup procedures, paramadical tattoos, tiny tattoos or tattoo removal services. If you have any questions regarding any bullet point, please contact us before you book.

  • Based on medical guidance provided to permanent cosmetics professionals,  permanent cosmetic procedures should not be conducted two-weeks before or two-weeks after a COVID-19 vaccination. There may be delayed reactions to the vaccines, and it may be difficult to discern an untoward response to products used during the permanent cosmetic procedure. There is also a consideration to separate any inflammatory responses either may cause.
  • I kindly ask that you CANCEL or RESCHEDULE your appointment if you are sick or have the onset of symptoms of an illness or have been around individuals who have been sick (cold symptoms, flu-like symptoms, COVID-19 symptoms, etc.). If you come to your appointment with symptoms of illness, you will be sent home and charged the full price of the service. You will also not be able to book another appointment. Please be considerate.
  • You are not a candidate for Permanent Makeup if you –
    • Have HIV or Hepatitis
    • Are under age 18
    • Are pregnant
    • Have certain skin conditions or damage to the skin in the treatment area
  • If any of the contraindications listed below  apply to you, please consult your physician for guidance, PRIOR to booking your appointment. You will be required to provide proof of a doctor’s clearance.
    • Diabetes
    • Glaucoma
    • Skin diseases such as shingles, psoriasis, or eczema on the area of treatment
    • Allergies to makeup
    • Keloid disorder
    • Skin Cancer
    • Unregulated high blood pressure
    • Taking blood thinners
    • Autoimmune disorders
  • If you are pregnant, you do not qualify for permanent makeup/paramedical tattoo procedures as pregnancy changes the skin, and there is also a higher risk for infection. We want you to have a beautiful pregnancy and delivery, and would not want to do anything to pose possible risk to you or your unborn baby. See you in 9 months! If you are breastfeeding, please consult with your physician prior to booking.
  • It is not recommended to have Permanent Makeup/Paramedical procedures done while you are menstruating, as you are more sensitive to pain during this time.
  • Please do not book Permanent Makeup/Paramedical tattoo procedures within 2 weeks of a major event or planned vacation. Your treated area will go through a healing process that involves peeling and flaking which may be unsightly, especially with treated eyebrows, eyes and lips as makeup may not be applied to these areas of the face during healing. In regards to vacationing, direct sunlight, and pool/beach water WILL impact the healing of your treated area causing issues with pigment (color) retention. After healing, it is recommended that you continue to use sunscreen to protect the longevity of your permanent makeup, especially during vacationing. Any corrections to the treated area due to failure to adhere to this and other outlined aftercare instructions will be at the client’s expense for the cost of a color boost.
  • Permanent makeup procedures are affected by the canvas (your skin) that they are performed on. If your skin is sun damaged (including damage from tanning beds), thick and uneven in texture, and/ or excessively dry or oily, the result cannot be expected to be perfect after the initial procedure. Scars on the lips from fever blisters cause pigment removal.  Lifestyle, medications, smoking, metabolism, facial surgery, and age of skin, all contribute to fading. Color refreshers are sometimes needed to ensure the best results and to keep your permanent makeup looking the best.
  • Permanent Makeup/Paramedical Tattoo pricing is for clients who have not had any previous permanent makeup or tattoo service in the desired treatment area. If you have already had a service performed in the treatment area, please book a consultation prior to booking a service.
  • All Permanent Makeup, Paramedical Tattoo, and Saline Removal appointments require a minimum $100 NONREFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE to book. This fee will be deducted from the payment due at the date of service. Payment is due at the time of booking for all other services. All major credit cards are accepted.
  • A 6-8 week perfecting touch-up is required (at an additional cost) for all permanent makeup/paramedical tattoo procedures. An annual color boost may also be needed depending upon the client’s skin and lifestyle.
  • Appointment Reminders –
    • Please do not bring extra people to your appointment.
    • A complimentary consultation is included during your Permanent Makeup appointment.
    • The average permanent makeup/paramedical tattoo appointment varies from 2 – 3 hours. The average time for other services is 1 hour.
    • Please remove all makeup from treatment area prior to appointment.
    • For Permanent Makeup/Paramedical Tattoo appointments – Cease use of all aspirin, ibuprofen, and other NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) and caffeine products (energy drinks, coffee, tea, soda, etc) 24 hours prior to the procedure. The use of these products can cause excessive bleeding, preventing pigment retention and affecting the outcome of your service.
  • Your technician has the right to refuse service for any reason he or she deems necessary.

I have read with understanding and I agree with the information presented above, in the FAQs,  and in my procedure description. I am making an informed decision to proceed with this booking.
